Shouts to my homie that brought that shatter through. I usually save that for the end, but I keep it funky with my people. You should be aware of how comfortable I'm feeling. Good music sounds enhanced when the mind is right. Media targets our community to paint as uneducated, along with other blasphemy. Meanwhile, Rap has some of the most intelligent minds, and endless angles to utilize them.
This creative concept by @Jihad Scorcese is so impressive. He references a legendary NBA coach as a metaphoric comparison to his upbringing. The basketball cadences bounce off one another. Continuing the genius capabilities of an emcee, he runs the court with @King Merlino. As you peep the Duncan & Ginobili monikers being addressed for this ill B - Side! For Scorcese, his plug was his version of Poppa. For Merlino, he plays on the title by acknowledging the lack of a figure of guidance as he grew up.
Both sides are entertaining, some witty bars being thrown at you. The content keeps the streets satisfied with the hustle lines. No bragging or glorifying, but a clever way to explain the ups and downs. I'm always happy to see our featured artists getting work in. This time he links back up fellow Philly spitter, Jihad to rock this heavy Disco Vietnam track. Known for production with Career Crooks. He also produced the album for this loosie.
A World Only Gods Know. You will want to check it out. It's a stacked project. Consistently Scorcese gets big acts to work with him. Likes of Pastor Troy, and Killer Mike, artists I'm a fan of, as well. That's only a couple of the appearances on his Remix project. Follow the link below, leave your reactions in the comments. Thank you to the fans, artists, clients, and if you can't figure out which one you are, thank you, also. Most High blessings to you!
Got some powerful raps for you tonight! Let's face it. Whether you work, go to school, play on a team, you are going to be in a situation where you hear music not of your selection. Most cases, it's watered down, forced fed culture replacement songs. It's always good to get a Hip Hop cleansing from all the toxic music taken in through the week.
Energy is never destroyed, only transferred. Once you hear whose on this banger, you will feel the magnetics. From Diamond Dialect, we have a smoker released by @00Despo. The vibrant foundation was laid by Sc@ryHour. He got the illest foreign vocal sample, that he's not given any secrets about. Out of the Golden Era, we're graced by legendary @Planet Asia, alongside @Tristate.
You have to roll the finest to this, drinks only in fine glasses. With songs like this, I don't know how people are complaining about a lack of Hip Hop. They're just not looking where they should. These are emcees are never watered down, they spit hard, and lay jewels down for the youth.
Biggups to Durag Dynasty and Diamond Dialect for that real Hip Hop. Pick this joint up at any digital music store of your choice. Oh yea, big congrats to Sc@ryHour and wife, who tied the knot recently. May everyday be a honeymoon. Thank you, all our royal fans. Your feedback is the realest. Bless up!
The vibe of this tune is perfect for Sunday. Not your typical end of the week sounds of relaxation. I chose an aggressive one for good reason. For most of us, Monday is a restart to a financial week. Once you hear this, that engine will start to ignite, and motivate your drive to increase capital.
@StarrBux is another featured artist always cooking up. He's not the type to dump, though he will hit his mark. I appreciate each approach when done effectively. The young scholar is drooling bars all over a topic unsaturated. He's talking about debt, and how people struggle, just to never escape it. As much as I respect finance telecasters, Bux sounds better than a CNBC show.
A big link with @XYAYX Studios for the 4K visuals. They came up with a tangible, at the same time, creative piece to last. The classroom to the studio transition is well captured. That's very common within our community. So, it hits home with the civilian trying to get a job, as well as the ones going independent.
This is a thinker's tune that's easy to grasp. Starrbux odes Papoose while doing the Alphabetical Slaughter instrumental justice. I don't know which line I like more, the Sallie Mae or Trump line. Honestly, it's full of one-liners, so pay attention. You'll like this video, along with what the artist has to say. Thank you for your support, always. Bless up!
This one is long over due. No excuses, that's all on me. Here is an artist that uses his pen to prove mightier than the sword. Never misses an opportunity to drop a jewel! The Newark emcee, @William Cooper exercises the power of education through songs. As kids we learned things quicker when we sung it.
The same approach with defusing devices used by corrupt countries to trap people. That is not just physically, once the mind is abducted, the body shall fall. Not your textbook teacher, William comes from our side of the spectrum. So, naturally we speak the same language, authentic Hip Hop. A few years out of Jersey, he spent some time in Amityville, Long Island. I can't make this up! If you heard the spooky stories, that cadence ties right in to dark topics he covers in his music.
This story turned out positive, though. That also happens to be the native town of immortal producer, BP. He was cooking on high with this one. This is a soulful sample that keep you hyped. Will has Queens legend, @Nature for a guest appearance. The respectful host allowed his company to eat first. Nate gives us his point of view with that jagged concrete flow. Will follows up exposing the evils of our system.
The emcees show their theatrical side in this alarming vid shot by Tom Vayianos. Cooper keeps his music clean, though the character portrayed by BP does not hold his tongue for the crooked government. See how Nature and William Cooper plot to give victims an outlet. This is one of the heaters on his second album, God's Will. All tracks produced by BP. Watch this video at Youtube, and get your copy of the album at your favorite online store. Shouts to Gemstarr Regime, shouts to our fans keeping us going. Blessings from the Almighty to each!
Welcome back Hip Hop heads! We're going back to Toronto to get up with an artist making serious moves. That's usually the common bond with our topics. Not only does @Tone Kelly emcee, he also produces tracks, and is head of an enterprise.
He's doing something real cool for his town, as well as the art, overall. Tone has organized a contest called So You Think You Can Rap. It allows others to showcase their skill, plus winner walks away with a five thousand dollar payout. I think I'm gonna apply for citizenship. Driven by lack of support, he came up with a platform of his own. The show has received some healthy offers by big entities, so he's on the right path.
Tone heads in the hit direction with this single. Not our usual Golden Era approach, though he drops gems on this catchy beat. Produced by himself, by the way, operating as Get It Dun Productions / J.A.M Beats. If your in the V, the club, or just motivated to get it you should listen to this. I'm glad to have bumped into Kells when I did. He's a part of a big Toronto movement with artists I respect. Can't forget the dope FERN TV interview on YouTube. They're a notable podcast recognizing current events and who's popping, all the way from Canada.
Kelly got the heat and the drive. He even has a stylist! His music is on the rise, as well as entrepreneurship. It's easy to listen to an emcee that is business minded. Catch the drip for free via YouTube. Be sure to follow, don't miss out on the upcoming work. Special thanks to all of our fans and contributors. Blessings from the Most High!
This weekend is video season at RAN. We've got some cool visuals to get into. This is a favorite of mine. I want to give some advice to the homies out there. Play this song for the lady your're entertaining. @MR Cooper put all the right ingredients together, you can't mess this up.
Following the debut of his hit EP, he connected with @Fantasy Photography for the ideal treatment. As a spectator, as well as a friend, I could see there was plenty work put in this piece. It has shots from, West Palm, Miami, plus NYC reeled together so fluid. I noticed scenes from his Miami Live, and Sugar Plum performances. I've always appreciated seeing those glimpses in vids from the past.
It's impossible to neglect how much of a stand up guy Mr Cooper is. His leading lady is his leading lady in real life. This is the part where the women say, "Awe!"
He's a role model, a great father, we got to encourage this.
I get double the reaction since I was present for some spots. I'm just as impressed by the scenes I wasn't around for. Actually, RAN fans will notice me in a small spot, which I'm very grateful for. Do remember @Drum'N Skillz on the track for his unique creativity. Viewers will enjoy this video,
also add My Life In Black & White to your catalog. Shouts to all the graduates, peace to our community. May the Most High bless you!
The humidity is going up. No time to pace, I'm getting right to it. Here's another beat I would rhyme on. How does @Rob Deniro make something so grimy from a wind sample? One of the gems he crafted from forthcoming collab, Heat with @Cocareef. After making a mark with Al Pacino portrayed film noir throughout a hit album, Cocareef jumps back into character.
The two actors brought out the big boy guns for their classic, and so did this emcee / producer team up. With this single alone, you hear some of the most polished verses from an Ocean's 11 squad of rap. Wack rappers catch a verbal cremation from the likes of @Jamil Honesty, @Micah Write, @Sedizzy, I'm not done yet! The mic continues to cinder from @Lupus Dei, @Whata Mess, and a blessed surprise, @Ambishouz.
Reef has the extended family, plus domestic, DNA family on the Deniro track. Those of us that saw the sneak peek on IG of Ambishouz landing the hook were excited about it. I'm glad we get to hear it's final version now, and I'm more than pleased with this tune.
You know availability is priority at cocareef.com
Bandcamp heads are never left out, either. 7th Angel always has something for the collectors. Already know you want the single, the same will go for the album. It's an impactful line up of emcees from that cloth. You will find some of my shell casings on the album, as well. Thanks to Cocareef and Rob Deniro for putting me on. Thanks to you loyal readers, always. May the Almighty bring you peace with prosperity!
This one is a treat. Shouts to all the Hip Hop journalists pushing the movement. I had good laughs with a few emcee homies when they found out it was me writing the blogs, and rhyming. I've realized how much time, plus effort it takes to blog dope content. So, when I noticed another emcee doing this, I had to show respect. We could say femcee.
I'm talking about the Weekly Rap Goddess, you know @Indigo PhoeNYx! She's dope at covering Hip Hop, also at creating it. She grabbed one of the roughest beats I've heard in a while, and it's thoroughly produced by @MindFrame. Great name for this tune, because the percussive track has war all over it. PhoeNYx brings that type of force, too. Her lines are sharp with aggressive delivery.
This young lady demands that you pay attention to her articles, she also has a flow that won't be refused. This is that no makeup rap, she ain't playing with em. This Queen is a product of Brooklyn, now residing in the Denver area. NYC heads hustle all over, and that place is a gold mine.
This single was a great team effort. You should head to Bandcamp and get your copy. I could hear more MindFrame team ups with Indigo PhoeNYx in the future. Please follow and let them know how your feeling their joint. Thanks to all of our supporters. May the Most High bless you.
It's time to get up with one of the most interesting people. This is an artist that really has the Hip Hop mentality. The type to go all out for what he believes in. @The Deity, V has a sound full of character. Which results from groomed spontaneity.
This three piece is a rare find. Not only does it have Joker dialogue, actually has a chuckle from the Bat himself. Our opening joint, I'm Fucking Red!!! is a suspenseful loop. The Deity brings the spook with him. The wordplay bouncing on the track is seamless.
Fiery Flutes N' Fruit! got the clean brass over some heavy bass. V Kicks an aggressive verse with that new 90's energy. He recognizes how to gain the respect earl, and ride the momentum. Peep how he sits on the rhyme with subtle switches.
The last tune digs in on a metaphoric display of a game he formerly played. Select bars for a select topic. The Ancient Art of Knuclebones! shows his technical side with the multi-syllable flow. Interesting connection with the Havoc line quoted about faking jax.
A creative individual, to say the least. He even did his own alternate album covers. The track listing is a short one, yet entertaining consisting of beats by Matt The Godfather. Pick up your copy and let the artist know your reaction. I thank our readers for their reactions being shared. Almighty blessings to you!
This guy can't be stopped! Putting out back to back projects with quality material. Now, the follow up continuing this golden theme, No Joy Without Pain. We're getting into the single, currently being pushed.
Before we go there, I want new readers to understand @Jamal Gasol is a contributor. A lot of fans are reading these articles due to the spreading of the word through some artists he knew. I'm grateful for each connection made. We, the Underground have helped one another, directly, and indirectly. This circuit has gained the attention of mainstream, plus the demand.
I covered the first two pieces to this collectible trio, Gasol has only improved since! Tagging back in with seasoned vet,@ Kil for this emotional background. The guitar riff draws you in, Jamal pays homage to the warriors from the hood. Those that have passed away, as well as those behind bars that kept it thorough. Being one who went through similar situations, he shows his appreciation for loyalty.
A true banger, it's hard with jewels all in it! You already know, NJWP 3, will be just as pure. A split production between Kil and @Quis Star. Two of the earliest producers in my write-ups, plus they both have made tracks for legends. Continue to follow each artist, purchase their product. Big thanks for all the support on our side. Blessings from the Most High!
There is a class of emcees heavily sticking to their guns that got Hip Hop through. It's usually vets that have been around the block a few times and could tell you everything about it. I think they're a very needed piece to this puzzle we got for an industry. Without that structure the game would be even worse.
In my opinion, @Money Stacks fits right in that category. Uses his voice like he's supposed to, spits bars, plus education for the next man. After a few songs in, he sounds like an established artist. This tool set combined with that Harlem hustle, he should be unstoppable. So, it's up to us to take control of media breakthroughs.
This beat by D. Rose is straight electric! It reminds me of when a hit single had feeling. MSM drops a shorty on us with the outspoken, one verser. He's got the 90's roots, but the energy is right now. Stacks brings raw essence of the culture through music, as well as merch. Get your hands on it, demand is growing. Investors / business owners notice these type of people.
Play this joint at SoundCloud, give it a Repost so he's knows you're reppin. I'm ever grateful for the interactions from all the readers. More hot ones on the way from some of our favorite emcees. Blessings from the Almighty!
A pleasant return tonight from a speedster. In an ever growing industry, @Lucid Dreams has adapted to this fast paced, now era. He has allowed his style to grow, this keeps him connected with a vast fan base. If you have yet to figure, I will use a pun every chance I get. It's all about that old saying, "Team work makes the dream work."
Introducing his partner in rhyme, @Kamikazy. He's a fellow speed rapper from Connecticut! At the moment, residing in Texas. Together, a powerful force. Due to their expanding flow of constant pressure, the moniker Ebbnflow came about. Dope play on the terms Ebb and Flow of the sea.
An interesting arrangement of sounds. I don't think they would mind me saying they are on a compatible level to Strange Music. However, the track is so Boom bap rooted. J-nyce blended several elements to get this unique head nodder! The rhymes are loaded with backpack material, from building emcee value to defusing oppressors. Lucid, plus Kami equal lyrical vigilantes.
I enjoy the artists' ability to entertain the crowd from a different angle using the same tools that have been provided to others before them. They happen to get varied results, though. The song goes against most of what was taught through institutions, or forced fed some way. The unexpected positive approach.
Two dope individuals with an ill team effort. You love Hip Hop with originality, go pull this up at SoundCloud. Follow and share, so you could keep up. Thank you for support. Jah bless you, All Nighters!
Been away for a minute taking care of life. Unforeseen events pop up that need immediate attention. I'm behind on the posts, so I got something out of the batch I wanted to get into. I'm giving him the new moniker, Mr SEO, you know him as, @K. Burns. This audio adrenaline is a digital store debut. Go ahead and search the album title. Watch what happens and how fast.
A warm intro with Welcome To Burnieville. The vibes is melodic, light synth with a drum pattern similar to EDM set by Tru P.
It's the background to the street gospel from Burnie. Our next tune talks with the keys, a faster tempo for the energy he brings. The Reintroduction shows a glimpse of how aggressive he attacks all his tasks. Including, the progressive results from this approach. @Gabdulla Tha Butcha got the tones and bass to bring it out.
Is it fair to have favorites? WeU$ is truly one of mine. It's that smooth playa vibe that hasn't been visited in a while. Burns lay the format from the days of AZ, 8 Ball & MJG. I can't help but t drift back to those times when I hear his verse on this Hobgoblin heater! Then, to further insult the hater's injuries, @318Cha$e slides on the track!
The producer selection is well thought out. We got blessed by @Ecto84 with that soul for the ladies on Dishes. "She love the way a nigga get it" K. got a dream girl on this one. That lady that appreciate what you do, plus make the route easier for you. There's another chic spoke about in the following joint, Backwood Rollin'
She cut from a certain cloth when she roll Backwoods. Often, the same one that ain't afraid to make a scene hot if violated. The rider, Kelo define that young lady in this sixteen. Another memorable, original production by Tru P. Do remember, this was a 420 release, so I remember the preview to National Stoner Anthem. He already knew he had a hit when he played it on his live. I also knew it was a go. @Wavy Da Ghawd laced a classic our parents used to blast in the crib.
Wavy doubles back another familiar sample on Young G's. I feel like I don't have to name the reference to this age group. It's a hard hitter, right on the chin. A strong feature from @Eddie Kaine to chop game with our tour guide. The content starts to consistently get more gritty from this point. The next guest appearance took the streams with his first recording. Mak P cameos on Adios with a verse of doom. Nobody is applying his type of pressure. Things stay spooky with Rim, letting you know you gotta keep the same energy when you see him. Unkle Burnie ain't playing. Heard what he'd do to a blogger? Glad we're on the same side... Shouts to @Bass Reevez for that horror score a whipped up.
I'm digging the transition with Gvng Money. Cousin Res got the sounds right. Gotta smoke to it. Catch the Bity Boys giving it up how they do best. @Fetty and K always shine on the same track. They kept it street, that never lacks between them. When I hear Cold Outside, the beat make me wanna rap on it the lyrics make me value my time more. The last piece from Wavy Da Ghawd. After a short story from K. Burns, @Con$piracy spits that pain, his bars are concrete. He fits in with our lyrical painters.
Tru P. closes the album out with a victorious instrumental for the artist to pour his heart in. K expresses his seasoned song making with Urban Royalty. He kills the flow over this Boom bap piece. The entire album is real play quality. No fillers, play straight through. Fans can still support on Bandcamp, remember this is his first digital store album, also. Get your copy, thank you for supporting the album and our site! God Bless!
Young G's Video
Peep this around the way visual from K. Burns in his BK residence and the squad. Big shouts to Eddie Kaine, Wavy Da Ghawd, Visa, & Plex!!! Straight organic Clinton Hill footage from the natives. You know we love the stoops, corner stores, and dirt bikes. Tap in on YouTube and leave your feedback!
