What It Sound Like?
Here's another one that's been burning a hole in my audio bank. I'm glad I get to write about talented, hard workers. You should recognize both qualitues in Norm Regular. Despite the name, there's nothing normal or regular about this flow. Which is what draws me. He's got such a mature style at his young age. The Baltimore streets could really speed up one's growth process.
Norm takes piece of the action with an EP produced by Fith. Interesting how Full Metal Alchemist was chosen for vocal drops. They used rare elements to make bangers out of this three pack. These tracks are refreshing. No one else is rockin this style. The first tune metaphorically sounds like it's from another dimension. Blend of electronic and Boom Bap while this Golden Era groomed emcee breathes life over it.
Destructions Left Hand, when I hear his voice tone along with projection, I can't ignore the Rakim comparison. Of course, his content and flow are of his own. So don't confuse that statement. "Mets fitted low smoke blow in my eye, this on the permanent, so niggas don't determine I'm high." The artist gives us piece of his personality, plus his travels. Queens has become another home for Regular. While he makes physical trips, his music also remains in motion reaching a bigger fan base. The knowledge is expressed heavy in Laboratory 5. Without spitting about trafficking or wetting somebody up, this is so hard. He said he rhyme with telekinesis. You could also relate the information to Five Percenters mentioned in the opening.
This album is full of depth. It is a short piece, yet it's complete. You will walk away knowing about the emcee. Also, it opens up that door that makes you look for more Norm Regular. One half of the Korner Boys, repping TFMG. I know Mak P is proud of his brother's efforts. Let's put this on repeat. I have a feeling he's got a project on the way soon, and I anticipate it. Make sure you follow and share this work. Thank everybody for staying up with me. May the Lord keep blessing you!
