No Matter What my hiphop story - Glue Hefner

What It Sound Like?

Last time out, I told you about a few artists I had on the way.  I don't want to delay any longer. Let's resume where we left off.  Sometimes we make plans with the best intention, that outcome is not guaranteed. Tonight's subject is the prime expression.

Glue Hefner sent me a survival pack, as I headed to a crossroad. I feel this will support our readers, as it did for me. The artist says so much needed to be said in this state of Hip Hop. He delivered it in a far, creative fashion. Fully produced by I Am Will, formerly known as M-Print. Total sound of soul flow from track to track. Starting with Strangers featuring Thnk Void. So in the pocket, he sounded like a sample from a classic. Beginning story of love with a woman called music. Going through titles and musicians that ignited his quest for the art.

All the comfort and comradery during early years of listening to Hip Hop pours through,
Best Friend. Countless hours invested, developing personality. This approach reminds me of
I Used To Love Her by Common. We get to listen to an expanded version. At this point, we join the duo appearance on songstress, KK Love. She presents that smooth, R&B touch.

Details become a little more juicy in First Time.
Those coy moments of writing your first tune, jumping in your first cipher, and those moments visioning your first performance on stage. Glue says,
"How you move my thoughts around, call it cranium renovation."
Dope explanation of the effect o the mind after digesting rap.

I'm Gonna Make It is verbal adrenaline. That moment you take your talent more serious. Against obstacles and doubters, nothing stopping the goals. This project tales the trek of the aspiring artist. My deepest emotional attachment is with, You. Things get bumpy after the honeymoon. This is where efforts start to feel in vain. Safe to say, plenty of us could relate to this joint.

The Call is entertaining, as it is ingenious. Check the flow versatility. Hef plays the role of self, also an 808 rapper. The voice serves as the common commercial vultures poisoning the rap game. It's portrayed as a hostage situation. Though, the machine detours the ride, true emcees won't give up. Always a feeling of being the one that makes a difference for the better in the industry.
So Forth And So On is the reminder. Crazy word play,
"Can't evolve, because you're trapped."

A chronological  explanation of where Hip Hop is and where it came from. I love the metaphoric approach. Making it sound like a relationship with a girlfriend or wife. NMW pays homage to the old school, then keeps you abreast of modern times. I love how he involved his families' musical influences as a door opener. A well put together audio document for anyone with ears.
December 24th it will be released in digital music stores. Get your copy. Thank you for staying up with me. All praises to the Lord of hosts!
