What It Sound Like?
It is totally the year of the hustler. Might jut happen to be the era! We know great minds think alike and fools never differ. I've been linking with a lot of great minds, one is a brother of a RAN favorite. Tonight you'll hear about
@Krazy The Real One. He's a product of Jersey City & East Orange, but he lives all over. From Marion, to Shepard Ave, to the Hill. A graduate of Snyder, followed by fourteen years in the Navy. After all that, he'd still be falsely accused of crime by the country he served Let alone, four attacks by police. What else is one to do when filing petitions, questioning senators and the president don't help Krazy The Real One find the right answers?
An interesting story, his hometown may sound familiar to you, he's also younger
brother to
@Cocareef. No wonder why he's such a hustler, as well.
A style all of his own, he brings vibrant vocals with deep content. Honesty is his best policy, he does an amazing job in Letter To God exposing his vices. It begins with Krazy talking to his daughter, Diamond before he details the chronology. Hard to tell your child you cheated on or with their mom. This touching chorus introduces Mimi, daughter of our emcee. All the lyrics are intimate, a window to his heart and soul. Including a window to his direct conversation with the Almighty.
Words Of Wisdom remains in family convo mode. He speaks candidly about his brother and mother. His young bro, Rube has gifts that big bro wants to encourage him to use. He stands out in sports, kills the mic, and wise beyond his years. Instead of focusing on anything bad, Krazy shines light on the positives. This hook is pure Hip Hop. He tells Qued Productions, the producer of the first two joints, he don't have a formal verse. Artists gotta vent, sometimes.
Free gets further into the artist's most painful moments. Extremely painful, a lot of people went through the negatives he talks about overcoming. These topics are not mentioned by others in this underground circuit. He tells his story in one big verse, saving the chorus till closing of the song. After all he revealed, Krazy chose a different path, then received meaning of the title is much more solidified.
Planet X features the only other rappers, D Money Da Goon, plus Rube The Difference. Yup, his younger brother, Rube. This describes the generational curse repeated on a regular basis. The absence of a grounded father sends sons down the wrong path. The son in the tune ignored his father's letters from prison. That resulted to stick ups, along with reliving the same path as his dad. These sentimental piano keys are a catalyst for the tear jerking.
Wake up, the last tune speaks for the struggle as a whole. Not just the hood, it extends to medical, plus corporate industries. The artist wants us to make the right decisions, and not just say we are woke. Don't stay stuck in this system geared by birth, medical, and funeral costs.
We get some ghetto gospel in this track, all bars of pain. Dropping jewels about the presidential links to Hollywood. This one is all warrior spirit, concluded with skin crawling dialogue from unforgettable, Dick Gregory.
The listener should recognize knowledge is key, wisdom is given by God, and love is spread.
A project I recommend. The lyrics are deep, without going over the head. Got some more fun facts. This is not just an emcee. Krazy enrolled in his Masters program, he's a project manager, leader, and most importantly, a God fearing man.100% faith over fear. He's a brother in Yashua, which shines through his work. Krazy is the people's rapper. He's gonna speak for those who are too hesitant to say what they think. Pick up your copy at a digital music store.
