What It Sound Like?
My direction may drift throughout this. I was put on to this remix by @Stan Da Man. Give him credit for the above and beyond job he does as a producer. As you can hear @Nipsey Hussle vocals spittin life over the break. It reminds me of the first time I heard him.
DJ Nitron International, a producer-friend of mine made a remix of Hussle In The House, must of been when Nip first started branching out to other states. Years later, another friend, DOD Jay played a tune that also had @Rick Ross, plus @Stalley. All bodied verses. My radar was up! Crenshaw and Mailbox Money got me through a labor pool job. Getting little money, at all. His music still motivates me, today. No Pressure helped me ride in the car with millennials.
Hearing someone living out things certain friends, and I were working on, he was living. Goals I mapped out, he achieved them, then shared it with who would listen. I was so happy to hear a nice emcee covering finance, legally. He always kept Africa relevant, always kept his team, community, and family relevant.
Many look down on gang members. I didn't come up in his hood, I don't judge that. I saw someone rise from that lifestyle, as well as encourage other members to live a positive life. He even brought rival gangs together because they saw his vision.
In my heart, Neighborhood Nipsey got album of the year with Victory Lap. I saw him as righteous, may his life be celebrated. I'm thankful for witnessing accomplishments. Take a listen to what Stan Da Man whipped up with. Someone else I have much respect for. Thank the readers for staying up with me. Blessings from the Almighty!
