Hold On (Video) - Atswei Franaalo

What It Sound Like?

Had to take it back to the home lands. It's been a while since we posted about this multi-lingual singer. We're headed to a major tourist spot, the country of Ghana. Bet you didn't know that, I'm recently finding out myself.

This jewel, @Atswei Franaalo will be a huge factor in that tourist attraction. She's already got a dedicated fan base attending her shows. Looks like she's bonded well with director @Elkay Ghana of AVA Films for this peaceful vid. Atty is beach side rocking @The African Tradition apparel. A scenery I'm due for, I'd love a trip out there.

The artist takes the Reggae route with production by @Paul David. He lays the sounds of roots and culture. Actually, Paul cameos solo shots on the keyboard in the video. Franaalo sings lyrics of hope, plus inspiration. Her voice is beautiful. Power blended with finesse.

I'm diggin this vibe. She always has the sounds. All Nighters get to YouTube and enjoy. Leave your reactions in he comment. Be on the lookout from Atswei "Lomo" Franaalo. Peace to everybody stopping through. Most High blessings!

OUT AN ORIFICE/LIVE FROM HELL (Prod. Alchemist) - the deity, V

What It Sound Like?

Through this movement, I've built with artists that are eccentric as their music. Communication helps understand the person's structure. It's an extended element to the message throughout the art. I value the establishment with our RAN camp keeping me updated.

The subject of tonight has been through an adventurous journey since our first double feature.
@the deity, V does what people think about doing. On a hiatus from his home of Newark, the emcee traveled to the City Of Angels. He's young, but that's what the driven ones were doing before my time. While walking in faith he established some connections of his own.

Attracting the attention of @Fat Beats, songs with @Hus Kingpin, @Cocareef and some spoilers V will have to tell you about. He's hasn't stopped releasing heat for a moment. Now, he chews through this cook up by Alchemist. This flow of warfare hits hard as the snares. There's numerous one liners that I go for. Can't give it all away. You have to listen with your ears.

Though, this passage sticks out to me. After breaking down math: 4 x Right,
"square, dollar sign, furnace ascend for more more life."
Referencing the downward spiral of pursuing temptation. The fight to overcome, the regrets of illusions that once appeared gold.

deity is the type to steadfast through adversity. As the tune nears ends, you'll notice a deliberate alteration in vocals to mirror the track. Also indenting the degree of pain the artist has suffered. Listeners are playing this back to back at YouTube. It's a deep one. Subscribe and leave your reaction in the comments. Thanks for your support. Jah bless!

Michael Millions Opens Up For Nas July 22 2019

What It Sound Like?

It's time for a lo-fi, high. A fascinating mini story how I found out about tonight's artist. It's been a long time since a Hip Hop artist came from OT for a concert. Earlier this year I heard about an artist coming to Lake Worth that made big breakthroughs from an independent position. So, I went to the show, it was great vibes.

At the time, I was unaware of music from the artist right before the headliner. Who is also his friend from their home of Richmond VA. This seasoned mic controller, @Michael Millions was just as entertaining. More of a laid back style, than his tour partner, @Nickelus F. Each artist is original, bringing you their chapters of the state.

Present day, Michael Millions concert credits are skyrocketing. Tomorrow night, July 22, 2019 he opens up for iconic rapper, @Nas. Many of our readers know about the glorious grind. In Richmond, he is looked at in those same eyes. Millions already has a mural dedicated to him. It was done by the most requested, @NILS.

Hear for yourself the gems enriched in his flow on Hard To King. A selection from his latest album. He travels his own path. While the safe route seems to be grainy loops minus drums, he takes the merlot, jazzy course. The production by Bandolero is relaxing, plus original background vocals by Francoise Hamilton.

Michael stands out in place full of talent. It's time his dreams come to fruition. May the event at
The National be a safe one. I know Millions will have a dope performance, whichever songs he rocks. Shouts to @DJ Lonnie B and Nas! Get familiar while you get tickets. Thanks for staying up with me. Blessings from the Almighty!

Long Verses With Art - Whata Mess X Yellow Balaclava

What It Sound Like?

Early, I knew I was gonna get right to this one. I recommend my readers to get their finest flower, or oils if you like. You don't need my instructions, you know what time we on. We've had a run of rugged rhyme sayers  all week. I'm glad there's no drought on our side.

The game has to deal this guy, @Whata Mess is climbing higher on that dangerous emcee list. He put this collab together with @Yellow Balaclava. The design was shared between Yellow and Kris Blade. A meeting of pain and paint = Art!
Catch the patterns in the cover art. What you know bout Bob Ross?   He welcomes us to the gallery.

This tip toe, baseline by @Dj Rybe is mean, the drums are slapping.  It gave Mess a vibe for
What's The Word. It's a reminder to the fans, and a display of the rap, thriller. We get a double shot of the duo in Stain On The Wall. It gets spookier, involving drug abuse, incarceration, and the inevitable life or death situations.
"When I went to jail I ain't do bail. I did push ups in an open cell."

I need to hear Superflexin' On The Scene on satellite radio tonight. Sounds like he inherited new power from an old artifact. The talented producer, @jprbeatz gave us that classic funk on the keys. Yes, it's body, however you can hear how much fun he had recording it. If the industry wasn't twisted, this tune would be a radio friendly banger.

It's A Burial bares no apologies. Some gloomy Boom Bap laced by Livin. More participation in this series from homie, @Grone Da Radikal
They spit that disrespectful flow. They some of the most insulting lines I've ever heard. It's for the thick skull, not sure if it desensitizes you enough for Not Over.

Skinny Rotten, the war storyteller reveals a tearjerker over the @Jimmy Dukes melodic background. It's a tragic tale you'd hate to hear about any woman. Reminds me of the last tune we covered by his close friend, Grone. The artist Whata Mess states,
"May 5th gave birth but the birth had funeral service"
The kid got lyrics... Hooks too!

We rap up this project with a Golden Era jewel from @Boger. Most tracks were dark, this is the light and the end of the tunnel. With that light comes Smoke. This beat is moving, the artist delivers that vibrantly. More original, insane bars for the listeners. One of the most talked about EP's, right now.  You're gonna enjoy your stay and purchase at Bandcamp. Thank you for passing through. Palm Beach in the arena. I agree with Skinny, peace and blessings from the Almighty.

Flow Of The Century (Video) - King Bo Bandz X Rush

What It Sound Like?

The story of success don't get old around here. Specifically, when it's a home town hero. I'm jogging my memory, years ago a friend of mine that also used to live in Queens put me on to this artist. Said, he was making noise on the North Side. It was certainly true after I heard the music with my own
set of ears.

Roughly, a decade ago, he went by Big Bo. Following some dramatic ups and downs, the artist now runs with the moniker @King Bo Bandz. He's had the loss of a dear friend, Russ Blade he would consider a brother. Due to this, their group aspirations were altered, not crushed. He's pushed through the resistance, reaching Shade 45, SwayUniverse, co-signs by huge impacts in Hip Hop, you name it.

Standing strong, he spits lines engraved with the lifestyle. The emcee is not selling myths, he even delivered a vid for the people to see. He hops over one borough to Brooklyn for a shoot with Draw. His eye is just as keen, as an illustrator applying detail. Off top, I'm diggin the tint on the screen, the artwork, rooftop, the underpass. Full of tuff locations. Of course, the leading lady!

If you listen clearly, you'll notice the unforgettable sounds of @Rush. He knows the pressure Bo releases. His beats always hold a margin to contain such energy. I feel that the vocals, beat, and treatment all line up. It helps the viewer grasp the concepts by King Bo Bandz. Don't hesitate to watch and follow at YouTube. Thank you for always showing love. Peace and prosperity from the Almighty!

Street Science - Snotty X Pad Scientist

What It Sound Like?

Throughout the articles, I've accumulated a contact list of impressive producers. and beat makers. It's official, RAN makes it a point to show their importance. They're a big factor in the reasons we rap. I got a tune from a cool producer. I'ma share it with the All Nighters.

@Pad Scientist has that crate vibe we dig for. He represents Richmond, Maine. I'm glad to know this love for Hip Hop lives there. Paddy sent some fuego out to the chilly town of Newburgh, NY for the emcee, @Snotty.  He's bringing the grimey rap for his town. It's a theme for the street route.

Snotty doesn't have a repetitive approach. He shows his ability to spit witty bars also. He coins the Scummy term as his representation. This joint sounds like the two have worked together before. Each are hard workers, pushing The Umbrella.

This tune is a portion of the heat cooking up over there. In the mean time, pop out to Bandcamp for this special. As always, follow the artists and keep supporting. Thank you, thus far. Almighty blessings to my readers!

DEMOlition P Mixtape - Mak P

What It Sound Like?

If we had a Freshman Of The Year class...
We don't usually see this immediate role of responsibility this early. Let's not forget, one of the first public releases from Mak P was consistently embraced. Everywhere from blogs, concerts producers, DJ's, fans, and emcees included.

Nearly a year passed, Mak has not let off the pedal. Following up with demanded projects.  Currently, seizing the Hip Hop opportunity, he drops a mixtape. It totally is a throwback to the days streams didn't exist. Hence the Demo-lition. It's a deep track list, so we gonna handle this one a little different. It will be more of a summary.

P kept it G with scratches, behind the scenes dialogue, along with content filled rhymes. Interesting balance of grittyness with intelligence. The beats are well arranged by @Ecto from South Bend, IN, as well as Missippi producer, @doncarrera. As far as variance, there's something for us all. Samples built around loaded instruments, some tracks have minimal instruments. You will also come across your no-drum loops.

Mak makes a statement that can't be muted with Straight Drop. "Hold on, spin on your block like Hakeem. Wait, 32 ounces I'll put a Magic, Bird on a triple beam"
Honestly, he Walking Deaded the competition on this joint. Bars is never a question, the flow show's layers. Songs like STAINLESSMAK and STREET DEBT reveal directions the artist is capable of.

The project is organically underground. P mostly spits straight through each tune, not many hooks. TFMG fans are gonna be very pleased with the featured roster. Austin rapper, @Wiardon, Bronx heavyweight @Fetty of Bity Boys, the bro @318CHA$e out Ruston LA, of course Brooklyn bred @K. Burns, he's also got @Rim Da Villain and @Con$piracy. Let's call it Team work.

One of the more laid back tunes is KOLD SWEAT. You must feel the controlled aggression. 10,000 hours and PROPER WARNING slow the tempo down, slightly. The energy stays up, though. P elaborates more on a line mentioned earlier in Magic & Bird. Closing with Kratos is a bit self explanatory. He came to rule, you don't want war with Mak!

Roll one up or maybe three. this is a project to right to. You want to hear raw rhymes? Look no further. The artist has made this available at SoundCloud, plus Sun Tzu and Paka got it up on YouTube. Thank you for staying up with me. Blessings from the Almighty!

Come On Down - Lupus Dei X Mr-Pay-Per-View X Melo on the beat

What It Sound Like?

It's safe to say, the rap releases are rapid. Full of music keeping Hip Hop alive. Our kids know what Boom-bap is. That's a beautiful sign for the years to come. Since the kids came up in this, the article is about one of my son's favorite rappers in this circuit.

@Lupus Dei drops quality where ever he goes. Proceeding with IKING / Home Team, we get into a banger off his latest project, Beautiful Dei.  The charismatic emcee tagged hometown homie for this event. @Mr-Pay-Per-View joins, as the artists share first hand experiences of Paterson, NJ.

The track has one of those samples that made us wanna rap back in the day. Melo on the beat brought the power, he brought emotion. This tune takes its own course, Hip Hop heads will notice it also pays homage to a vet. I like how Lupus incorporates the steps took in rap to get to this point.

Come On Down is one of many replayable joints on a great album. While you're at Bandcamp, get this exclusive piece. Make sure you follow the artists for future releases. Thanks to everybody stopping through. Blessings from the Most High!

Entrails - General Back Pain X Chuck Chan X Flu

What It Sound Like?

When people talk about this Hip Hop era, they better talk up Home Team. Tonight, I want to tap in with their West Coast lyricist. Off top, big congrats on to @General Back Pain inking with
Tuff Kong Records.

His first  distribution is a co-op with @Fludust. A Boom bap producer by way of Melbourne, Australia. He laid a track like no other with Entrails. The sound merges between  electronic and middle eastern influence. I picture a modern, night party by the pyramids.

You'll notice the familiar voice of @Chuck Chan. Yes, he's back on the mic! Fans remember their connection on Crenshaw & Imperial. Now, the saga continues with this new heat. Can't snooze on this duo. GBP makes sure anything that wasn't hit by Chuck get wet up. Their history is part of the reason I chose this tune. I dig a great come up story. You can see the track record leading up to this joint, and it only improves.

They set an example for this rap game. Dudes can't pretend to be rapping on these tuff beats. If you have yet to notice, Home Team has become one of the most requested groups in the circuit. You helped with that growth, plus mine. You will be just as pleased with the rest of the Bovine album. Pick it up at Bandcamp. Big thanks for the support. Almighty blessings to all fans!

"Nonchalant" - StarrBux (Video)

What It Sound Like?

I hope everyone's week is starting off right. When something works, don't break it. I live by it. That's also the unwritten agreement between tonight's recording artist and director.

It was our last video covered about @StarrBux we saw the polish added by StarrMazi. They recognized their chemistry, here they are to capitalize. Bux brings us fresh visuals from Project Black,  An album with anthems that still bang, today. Plus the arrival of @Margarita Sahadijan.

The setting is located in the condo! The kid is always upgrading. The look grabs you, and the artist has a nice play date to grab him. The scenery would have me feeling nonchalant, too. A dope match for the topic of the song with orginal keys from ElmstreetBeats.

I like the filter along with exclusive shots. Fly, yet subtle. Readers pop out to YouTube, support the new vid from our homie. I appreciate all the feedback shared with me from our fans. Almightyblessings to you and yours!

Fallen Kingdom - Alpharaoh

What It Sound Like?

This one is more about the feel...
Last year, I had the luxury of appearing on an EDM album. It was my first time trying my hand at the genre. If you like my articles or songs, you know I go for the challenge. I was honored that an upcoming producer reached out to me. I wasn't detoured by the differences our market.

@Alpharaoh saw a successful 2018 in the digital stores. Each release showed high anticipation in
pre-order volume. The present day, thousands of fans later, he delivers more for the people. Stepping outside the box, he made a Hip Hop based project. Usually, there is many lyrics in EDM. This time Al reached out to more recording artists to perform over his unique production.

Though, this is a new approach for me, I still want to present it. Our readers have been groomed by more of a Boom bap selection. These artists on the electronic waves also got something to say. I'm diggin the line from MayaMako, "Futuristic kinda like Marty be."
A retro cadence from the new generation, gotta appreciate that.

Some more guests making moves through the younger crowd, Monte, Hip$ter, and
Nazareth Suedegod. Each bringing the sound you would hear on mainstream radio. More features from @Shane Loyal @Micki Ronnae, @Iamsoloco, plus @Meko. I could also hear these artists in clubs, and streaming platforms.

Linking up with Alpharaoh will only broaden their fan base. He's been working hard on this album. Show your love at your favorite online music store. This is a diverse piece, so it is for the diverse ear. Thank you for the support you've been showing. Almighty blessings!

Fear Of A Black Messiah - Jeff Smith X Savilion Beats

What It Sound?

This is so necessary, Hip Hop with an attitude. Content that can't be ignored. An artist using their gift as a weapon against corruption. It brings to my senses, the fact that mainstream music pretends there's a big party in our community.

@Jeff Smith presents the truth behind this blindfold. The Portsmouth, VA  penman breaks through racial barriers in the corporate system. No bigotry involved, he only defends our culture that has faced oppression. The right energy was set by @Savilion Beats
It has that rallying, as soon as it starts.  Jeff does not approach typically, because the tactics being used are not typical. Don't take his aggression for hatred.

This is a news source. He mentions the chemical, physical, legal as well as digital warfare. It's take skill to educate in rap without being generic. Catch the way the hook is put together, naming rivals.
I found this tune impressive, plus inspiring. You know you wanna support. Go over to Bandcamp, make the purchase, share the product. Thank you for staying up with me. Almighty blessings!

Animal Factory - Cocareef x RobertDeniro X What Mess X 1 Shot Spitune X The Deity, V

What It Sound Like?

When you work hard consistently, usually the blinders go up for anything other than your grind. So much goes on that could distract you. The goal to stay focus seems out of reach, at times. Then, it seems out of the blue you are rewarded for your efforts.

This song consists of dedicated hard workers who are receiving recognition from several directions. That right's @Cocareef acquired a team of hit men for tonight's single. That would be the track slaughtering, @Whata Mess, your boy, @1 Shot Spitune
and craftsman, @The Deity, V

Another track from @Robert Deniro that was fun to write to. It's got the perfect blend of melody and fright factor. DJ's and YouTubers in the Hip Hop corner have been adding Animal Factory to their lists since its debut. Big salutes to @DJ Cut Supreme, @Paka Vibe, I also saw it on @calmlysmk, only naming a few. I'm grateful to be a part of such an impacting tune, working with real emcees, plus producer!

Some of you have already been enjoying this joint, proceed. Everyone that it is new to, go to YouTube and Bandcamp for that missing space in your catalog. While you're there, pick up that, Heat album. Thank you All Nighters for staying up with me. Praise Almighty!

The Touch - Miskeen Haleem X Robert Deniro

 What It Sound Like?

I know we're in an era where recording artists are at an all time high. The media could impression the belief that it's all saturated. On this end, wack music doesn't get sent to me. I hear from all parts of this rap genre, no cornballs with weird messages. Of course, I get the occasional bot trying to sell me something. That's light though.

This tag team always has something more heavy for you. @Miskeen Haleem rhyming on
@Robert Deniro tracks keeps getting better. In this culture, it's frequently compared to the 90's rap sound. Today, the music process is so digital. If you do a feature, it's very likely the files are being emailed. Myself included.

I feel that these two have an additional element, since Haleem moved out to the west, and they actually get to work together in the same stu. It is a different energy directing the chemistry. Something long distance collabs don't have. Rob made one those joints that make a rapper say I'ma kill this beat.

The emcee did exactly that.
"We can't build. We ain't on the same wavelength. It's like they listen to Miskeen and they gain strength."
The Touch is lyrically entertaining. The artist has something to say, and it holds up to the background. One more tune off Blackkk History. You know what to do at Bandcamp. Keep supporting good music and good ethic. Thank you for locking in. Blessings from the Most High!
