Long Verses With Art - Whata Mess X Yellow Balaclava

What It Sound Like?

Early, I knew I was gonna get right to this one. I recommend my readers to get their finest flower, or oils if you like. You don't need my instructions, you know what time we on. We've had a run of rugged rhyme sayers  all week. I'm glad there's no drought on our side.

The game has to deal this guy, @Whata Mess is climbing higher on that dangerous emcee list. He put this collab together with @Yellow Balaclava. The design was shared between Yellow and Kris Blade. A meeting of pain and paint = Art!
Catch the patterns in the cover art. What you know bout Bob Ross?   He welcomes us to the gallery.

This tip toe, baseline by @Dj Rybe is mean, the drums are slapping.  It gave Mess a vibe for
What's The Word. It's a reminder to the fans, and a display of the rap, thriller. We get a double shot of the duo in Stain On The Wall. It gets spookier, involving drug abuse, incarceration, and the inevitable life or death situations.
"When I went to jail I ain't do bail. I did push ups in an open cell."

I need to hear Superflexin' On The Scene on satellite radio tonight. Sounds like he inherited new power from an old artifact. The talented producer, @jprbeatz gave us that classic funk on the keys. Yes, it's body, however you can hear how much fun he had recording it. If the industry wasn't twisted, this tune would be a radio friendly banger.

It's A Burial bares no apologies. Some gloomy Boom Bap laced by Livin. More participation in this series from homie, @Grone Da Radikal
They spit that disrespectful flow. They some of the most insulting lines I've ever heard. It's for the thick skull, not sure if it desensitizes you enough for Not Over.

Skinny Rotten, the war storyteller reveals a tearjerker over the @Jimmy Dukes melodic background. It's a tragic tale you'd hate to hear about any woman. Reminds me of the last tune we covered by his close friend, Grone. The artist Whata Mess states,
"May 5th gave birth but the birth had funeral service"
The kid got lyrics... Hooks too!

We rap up this project with a Golden Era jewel from @Boger. Most tracks were dark, this is the light and the end of the tunnel. With that light comes Smoke. This beat is moving, the artist delivers that vibrantly. More original, insane bars for the listeners. One of the most talked about EP's, right now.  You're gonna enjoy your stay and purchase at Bandcamp. Thank you for passing through. Palm Beach in the arena. I agree with Skinny, peace and blessings from the Almighty.
